Highlight Show(s) of the Past Week

I saw Kids That Fly and Dogpark at Irving Plaza this week. Incredible show. I went for the opener, Kids That Fly and I love them even more live, their stage presence, the banter they had with the audience, everything was incredible. I do wish the lead singer’s microphone was turned up a bit more, but that’s personal preference. Not really knowing Dogpark going into the show, I loved their vibe and energy as well and will have to listen to more of their music. Listen to Kids That Fly here.

So….I saw The Rockefeller Christmas Tree lighting live. The last time I watched it live was in 2019 when I moved to NYC. It is honestly so interesting to see how much has changed in Rockefeller Center since then and how much my life has changed. It was really cool to watch all of the broadcasting and seeing the behind the scenes of a television broadcast. It was really cold though, so I would probably layer the clothes and bring hand warmers if I were to go full tourist and do it again.

Answering Your Questions/Talking Time

This part will not be about concerts (sorry). It was a hard week. I had my 7th tattoo removal session and since I go every 12 weeks, it is easy to forget how much that process hurts. I think my lesson of the week is that you will continue to go through painful things, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t worth experiencing. One day, the pain won’t sting as much as you remember.
