Hello everyone,
This year, I am doing my poem a day a little differently. I am writing a new poem every day, and these blog posts will go more in-depth on the process.
The word from the random word generator was MIX
Here is the poem:
I love baking, well cooking
experimenting in the kitchen to come up with something delicious
a recipe to share from generation to generation.
But sometimes they flop.
A little too much spice or not enough.
The ingredients don't incorporate the way you expect them to.
The texture is all off.
I think of love like that sometimes.
It's a recipe I want to perfect that I can't get right.
I don't know what ingredients I'm missing or why when things seem to be going so well something is wrong in the mix.
I want to have something to hand down generationally
even if the generations don't exist.
Something comfortable and cozy that you look forward going home to.
This one was a fun one, but my feet are sore from the concert I just came home from, to be honest, I kind of think this one was just more of a stream of consciousness situation.
