Hello everyone,

This year, I am doing my poem a day a little differently. I am writing a new poem every day, and these blog posts will go more in-depth on the process.

The word from the random word generator was REPRESENTATIVE

Here is the poem:

What is existence?
What does any of it mean?
Why should we care in the first place?
Some of what I know, not all
is that my current state is not at all representative of what I want or honestly need.
Nurturing
fulfillment
joy
quality time.
A list of things I want more of but don't value enough.
I don't know what happens in the end or if I care to.
I just hope that it ripples
that my life is a stone skipped in a river
and that when the time comes and it all goes dark
I won't have much I regret.

This one went a little dark, but I think we all have moments where we contemplate what we are doing and why we are here. I don’t know, and maybe I won’t forever, and that is okay.
