Hello everyone,

This year, I am doing my poem a day a little differently. I am writing a new poem every day, and these blog posts will go more in-depth on the process.

The word from the random word generator was HANDY

Here is the poem:

What do you keep handy?
Hand sanitizer , Altoids, noise canceling earbuds are always on me 
the notes app on my phone and a voice memo of my next idea.
I wish I were handy around my house
fixing something that needs to be fixed, hanging paintings, building furniture
I dont want to pay for something I should know how to do 
but maybe it's just the convenience of it all. 
I also like getting my nails done
so I don't know how handy I could be without breaking or chipping one. 

This isn’t one of my favorites and I’m not the proudest of it, but I think that comes with doing something every day, you aren’t going to get something you love every time.
