Hello everyone,

This year, I am doing my poem a day a little differently. I am writing a new poem every day, and these blog posts will go more in-depth on the process.

The word from the random word generator was UNDERLINE

Here is the poem:

I've written so many poems, journal entries, stories about love.
Names scribbled with hearts
my name + theirs 
initials carved into a tree
repeated and underlined over and over and over again.
It almost looks like a punishment 
that had to be done on a chalkboard
when behavior in class was horrendous.
Or as id there was no longer control over how often it was written.
Obsessive. 

This one was an interesting one, I loved going back to those feelings of liking someone a lot back in the day, how love was so intense.
